Our Port Charlotte Grout Cleaning Specialists Successfully Transformed This Shower from Dirty to Sparkling Clean
June 06, 2017
A client contacted us to know how fast we could carry out a job. He explained that he wanted to surprise his mother on Mother's Day. She had been saying for months how she wished she had the money to have her shower professionally cleaned, and he thought it was a perfect complement to what he had already planned to celebrate such a special day. The first part of the surprise was to drive to Miami on Friday evening to meet the rest of the family and charter a yacht to Bimini, returning to Port Charlotte on Sunday. He had booked a luxury yacht for the whole family to enjoy a special weekend and thought it would be great to see his mother's face when she returned home and saw her bathroom sparkling clean. However, he needed the work to start after they had left for their trip and finished by the time they got back on Sunday. After listening to his requests, we assured him that our Port Charlotte grout cleaning specialists would have the bathroom ready once she came back from the trip. All we needed was someone to give us access to the area we needed to work on and to be ready to lock the house after we were done.
The grout and tiles had accumulated a considerable amount of soap scum, mold and mildew, causing the shower to appear dirty and stained. To fix the problem we started by applying our proprietary tile and grout cleaner, letting it soak for a few minutes. After which, we used a gentle scrubber to remove all traces of grime. The next step was to use a steam cleaner to remove dirt from the most stubborn areas. After all the tiles and grout were thoroughly cleaned, we repaired the damaged grout using epoxy grout on the entire shower floor. We then color sealed the shower, giving it a brand-new appearance. Our proprietary epoxy ColorSeal also protects grout against mold and mildew, stains, and it makes grout easier to clean. Once the grout lines were sealed, we buffed Tile Armor on the entire shower to further protect the grout and tiles.
Though we were not there to see the look on the face of our client's mom when she returned from her weekend getaway and saw her renovated shower, but we did receive an email on Monday telling us that the results surpassed their expectations—she initially thought her son had completely changed the shower tiles. We took the opportunity to send him a link on how to take proper care of the renovated shower for him to pass on to his mother.
